A professional-grade calendar plugin with full RFC 5545 recurring events in the free tier — the feature The Events Calendar puts behind a $259/yr plan. Interactive month, week, and day views, multiuser permissions, iCal and CSV import/export, and holidays for 100+ countries. Events live in indexed custom tables, not wp_posts, so it scales past 100,000 events — and 40 REST API endpoints plus a built-in MCP server mean your AI assistant can manage it in plain English. A full self-hosted Google Calendar alternative, too.

A firewall for AI agents. WordPress 6.9’s Abilities API lets AI assistants act on your site — Agent Firewall decides what they’re allowed to do. Every agent write is intercepted and checked against deterministic policies; risky actions wait in an approval queue; an emergency kill switch pauses every agent instantly; every decision lands in a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit ledger with one-click undo. No AI inside, no external calls, no telemetry — just plain PHP enforcing rules you write, backed by 744 automated tests.

Agent Firewall gives every agent its own scoped identity — a bearer token, or a bound application password for the MCP clients that can only send a username and password — checks every write against your policies, holds deletions and settings changes for human approval by default, shuts down runaway loops with rate limits, and pauses every agent at once with an emergency kill switch.
You stay in control
One-click read-only mode keeps assistants view-only. Policies are plain PHP decisions on your server — no external service ever sees your data, on either plugin. Everything stays self-hosted.

Unit tests. Integration tests against a real WordPress and MariaDB. End-to-end tests with Playwright. PHPStan at its strictest levels — Level 9 on WebCalendar’s core, Level 8 on Agent Firewall — plus WordPress coding standards and GitHub Actions CI on every push.
